How are the vases made?
The ICONIC HOME vases are produced using modern 3D-printing technology. Each vase is printed layer by layer in a process that takes several hours.
This process makes it possible to create the extraordinary, delicate structure of the vases while keeping them very lightweight. For the material — a bio-based plastic made from corn starch — we paid particular attention to sustainability and quality.
What material are the vases made from?
The 3D vases from ICONIC HOME are made from polylactide (PLA), commonly also called polylactic acid and often referred to as a “bio-plastic”. PLA is composed of lactic acid molecules created during the fermentation of corn starch or sugarcane.
PLA does not literally grow on a tree or bush and is therefore produced synthetically. However, because of its ingredients, it is biodegradable and, with similar properties, represents a more sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based plastic.
How are the 3D-printed vases cleaned?
The ICONIC HOME vases must not be cleaned in the dishwasher. They can, however, be gently rinsed with lukewarm water. For dry dusting, a lint-free duster or an unused makeup brush can also be used.
The transparent inner insert or the glass insert of the fragrance vases can be cleaned in the dishwasher up to 65°C.
Can I fill the vases with water?
The 3D-printed vases themselves are not watertight due to their manufacturing process. Water would leak through the vase. Since a vase would not be a proper vase if it could not hold a fresh meadow bouquet or a beautiful lily, we offer special watertight inserts.
One such insert is included free of charge with every vase. It is already inside the vase on delivery. The insert is cylindrical and can be filled with water. Because of its narrow shape, it has slightly less capacity than the actual vase. So remember to insert it before using the vase with water.
If the vase is only used with dried flowers, you do not need it — although you can still leave it inside the vase. If you remove it, be sure to keep it.
Why are high temperatures not good for the vases?
If the vase is exposed to excessively high temperatures, for example in direct sunlight behind a window, the material can lose stability and the vase may warp. A test series we carried out over several weeks showed that this can happen, though not in every case.
Nevertheless, we expressly point out that the vases may deform at temperatures from 40°C upwards.
Can the vases be used outdoors?
For a celebration on the terrace or in the garden, or as decoration on a party table, the vases can also be used outdoors for a short time.
However, they should not be used permanently outdoors. Even for shorter outdoor use, make sure the vases are not exposed to strong sunlight.
Are the 3D-printed vases compostable or recyclable?
Yes, in principle. The vases are biodegradable and can be composted in an industrial composting facility under controlled conditions using microorganisms. This means that, even though the vases are compostable, you should not simply put them on your home compost heap.
Ideally, it will never come to that, because we hope you will enjoy your vase for a long time. If you are nevertheless thinking about disposal, please contact us.
What shapes are the vases available in?
For creative variety, ICONIC HOME vases are available in five different elegant shapes inspired by classic vase forms and reinterpreted for the 3D manufacturing process. Each shape is also produced in three sizes.
The two models SPHERE (classic spherical vase) and PURE (bottle vase) are also available in two smaller sizes in the fragrance vases section and in the sets section.
How large is a vase?
The exact dimensions can be viewed on the respective product page.
The vase sizes are coordinated so that all vases in the respective size category (small, medium, large) are similarly high. Depending on the model, the actual height varies by a few centimeters.
For orientation:
Large vases: 32–38 cm high
Medium vases: 26–32 cm high
Small vases: 20–24 cm high
The fragrance vase/table vase sets are available in two smaller sizes: 15 cm–17.5 cm high.
The vases are also designed so that they can be combined perfectly in different sizes, for example as a set of three.
What size are the inner inserts / vase openings?
The watertight inner inserts have the following dimensions depending on the vase:

What size are the inner inserts / openings of the fragrance vases and table sets?
Glass tube – fragrance vase:
Pure 15 cm: 15 cm high, 2.4 cm diameter
Pure 17.5 cm: 17.4 cm high, 2.9 cm diameter
Sphere 15 cm: 15 cm high, 2.4 cm diameter
Sphere 17.5 cm: 17.4 cm high, 2.9 cm diameter
Sphere 20 cm: 17.4 cm high, 2.9 cm diameter
Sphere 26 cm: 17.4 cm high, 2.9 cm diameter
Sphere 32 cm: 17.4 cm high, 2.9 cm diameter
The openings of the Sphere 20 cm, 26 cm and 32 cm fragrance vases are generally larger than the diameter of the glass tube. In these sizes, the glass tube is placed into the opening using an additional supplied insert.
What capacity do the vases have?
Due to their different shapes and sizes, the vases themselves do not have identical volumes. However, anyone who wants to fill the vases with water should use the included cylindrical insert, which can be placed in the vase neck.
How much does a vase weigh?
Due to the manufacturing process and the bio-based plastic used, the vases have the advantage of being lighter and also more break-resistant than ceramic or glass vases.
Large vases: 750 g–1250 g
Medium vases: 450 g–620 g
Small vases: 180 g–325 g
Which colors are available?
The vases are available in more than 12 carefully selected colors. The shades range from subtle to bold, from light to dark. From the trend colors, you can choose one favorite color or combine several vases and colors. The vase colors are chosen so that they match perfectly.

What does a room fragrance set consist of?
A room fragrance set consists of:
- Fragrance vase
- Glass tube in the vase
- Matching black reeds
- “Signature” room fragrance (quantity of your choice)
For the SPHERE 20 cm, 26 cm and 32 cm fragrance vases, an additional insert for fresh water and a matching insert for the glass tube are included.
How can the fragrance be described?
The included “Signature” fragrance is cruelty-free and vegan.
The ingredients are high-quality fragrance oils, water and ethanol. The scent can be described as pleasantly vanilla-like, woody and exotic.
It was created by experienced perfumers in Germany and is our ICONIC HOME favorite fragrance.

How does it work?
The principle of the fragrance vases is the same as that of a reed diffuser.
The fragrance oil is poured into the glass insert of the fragrance vase. The reeds are placed in the fragrance oil and then absorb it. Through evaporation, they release the fragrance into the air according to the principle of diffusion.
The fragrance intensity can be controlled by the number of reeds used: the more reeds are used, the more intense the fragrance, and vice versa.
We recommend filling the small glass tube two-thirds full with the included or another room fragrance and adding 5 reeds.
How do fragrance vases differ from the other vases?
Two models from the regular vase series are also available as fragrance vases: SPHERE and PURE.
The fragrance vase versions differ from the regular vases:
- The fragrance vases have a glass insert specifically for the fragrance oil.
- Fragrance oil and reeds are included.
The fragrance vases come standard with a black vegan leather band, while the regular vases have a lighter band. If desired, the band color can also be changed on the fragrance vase product page.
The PURE fragrance vase is available in two sizes that are smaller than the regular flower vases.
The SPHERE fragrance vase, by contrast, is available in five sizes: two sizes that are smaller than the regular flower vases, plus three sizes corresponding to the regular SPHERE models.
How large are the fragrance vases?
The PURE fragrance vase is available in two sizes:
15 cm | 17.5 cm
The SPHERE fragrance vase is available in five sizes:
15 cm | 17.5 cm | 20 cm | 26 cm | 32 cm
Please note when ordering that the size of the vase is independent of the selected amount of room fragrance.
A larger amount of room fragrance does not automatically mean a larger vase.
Which colors are the fragrance vases available in?
The fragrance vases are available in 13 beautiful colors — just like the large vases in the collection. Each vase can be viewed and selected in the desired color on the product page.
What should be noted?
The same instructions apply to the fragrance vases as to the other 3D-printed vases:
- The vase should not be placed near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- The vase itself is not watertight, so room fragrance or water should only be filled into the glass insert.
- The vase does not belong in the dishwasher and should not be cleaned with hot water.
When using the fragrance oil, make sure it does not come into contact with eyes, skin or sensitive surfaces and is not placed directly next to heat sources. It should be kept or positioned out of reach of children.
The fragrance oil should only be filled in once the glass insert is inside the vase. An information sheet with ingredients and instructions is included with every order.
What is special about the vase sets?
With our vase sets, we offer the most popular vase combinations from our shop in a hand-picked selection.
With one exception, all vases are also available individually in the shop. Only the smaller PURE and SPHERE table vases are available exclusively as a set of 3 in the Sets category.
I would like a different combination
The vase sets are only combination suggestions. In principle, every vase can also be ordered individually, so decorative sets can of course be put together freely in terms of color, shape and size.
This does not apply to the smaller table vases. If you have special requests here, please contact our customer service.
How do I place my order?
Once you have found your favorite vases in the shop, you can select both the number of vases and the desired color in the menu.
For fragrance vases, you can also choose the amount of fragrance included and the color of the
vegan leather strap.
Add the desired vase in your chosen color, size or fragrance quantity to the cart with one click. From there you can proceed to checkout or continue shopping.
What payment methods are available?
You can currently pay easily and securely via PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), or alternatively purchase on invoice via Klarna.
Where can I find the invoice?
You will find a link to the invoice in the shipping confirmation email and in your customer account for download.
For payment methods that require payment before shipping, you will be redirected from the cart to the relevant payment provider. When paying by invoice, Klarna will also contact you.
Can I view the status of my order?
You can view the status of your order easily in your customer account.
We will also send you an order confirmation once we have received your order. As soon as the order has been shipped, we will also send you an email with the tracking link.
Can I change my order afterwards?
You can still change your order before it has been shipped by us. Simply send us an email or give us a call. Unfortunately, changing the delivery address is not possible when paying by invoice.
How can I order a gift card?
Select the desired amount on the product page (here), place the gift card in the cart and follow the checkout steps.
Discount codes cannot be used to purchase a gift card.
After payment has been received, the code will be sent directly to you by email. You can print it right away as a practical last-minute gift.
How can I redeem a gift card?
A gift card can be redeemed within 3 years from the date of purchase. After this period, the balance expires. A gift card cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards.
Gift cards can be redeemed at checkout. The “discount code or gift card” field can be found in the checkout area. On mobile, you first need to expand this area under “order summary”.
You can also redeem several gift cards one after another in one order. If the value of the gift card exceeds the order amount, please select “prepayment” as the payment method. The remaining balance will be retained on the gift card code and can be used for further purchases until the end of the validity period.
If the invoice amount exceeds the value of the gift card, the value of the gift card will be deducted from the total after entering the code. You can pay the remaining amount using one of the available payment methods.
How can I redeem a discount code?
A discount code is valid according to the duration of the promotion. It can be redeemed like a normal gift card code.
Discount codes can be redeemed at checkout. You will find the “discount code” field there. Enter the code, and it will automatically be deducted from the invoice amount.
Discount codes cannot be combined with one another. Cash payout is not possible.

We ship our vases from Germany to all EU countries, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the USA:

What are the shipping costs?
We ship our vases with DHL from Germany. You can find the shipping costs for your country in our overview table. If you cannot find your country, please do not hesitate to contact us.
How are the vases shipped?
The vases are securely packed in a sturdy cardboard box and shipped with DHL GoGreen. We pay attention to eco-friendly materials and avoid using plastic.
Is delivery to a DHL Packstation possible?
Delivery to a DHL Packstation is possible. In addition to your name, please enter your Postnummer (available in your DHL customer account), the Packstation number, city and postal code in the address field.
Can I change the delivery address afterwards?
The delivery address can still be changed before we have shipped the package. Please contact our customer service promptly by message or phone. Unfortunately, changes are not possible when paying by invoice.
Do you also ship to Switzerland? What should I note?
Yes, we also ship to Switzerland. Shipping there costs CHF 9.95. From an order value of CHF 180, we ship to Switzerland free of charge.
When ordering to Switzerland, please set Switzerland as the country via the language/location selector in the menu at the top right. Prices for Switzerland will then already be displayed before checkout.
There are no additional customs, import or customs clearance fees. You can find more information here.
The order has not arrived
After the vase has been shipped, we will send you a tracking link. In most cases, this will clarify the situation, although it unfortunately sometimes ends up in the spam folder, so please check there as a precaution.
Of course, you can also send us a message at any time if the delivery has not arrived. We will look into it together with you and take the necessary steps in the event of a loss.
The delivery arrived damaged
Important: document everything with photos, including any damage to the packaging. Then contact our customer service. We will be happy to take care of it.
I received the wrong delivery
Please contact our customer service in any case. We will then arrange everything else for the exchange or replacement delivery.
Return or exchange a vase
Of course, you can return the vase if you have changed your mind. It should be well packed, sufficiently stamped and returned to us in its original condition. Please contact our customer service beforehand and let us know about the return or whether you would like an exchange or a refund.
If there is something to complain about and you therefore wish to return something, we will of course be happy to help. Please contact us in advance in this case as well.
How long do I have to return an item?
As part of the 30-day right of withdrawal, the vase can be returned to us in its original condition and with sufficient postage.
I have lost the watertight insert/fragrance insert
No problem. Contact our customer service and we can also send you the matching separate insert without a vase. Ideally, please provide your order number and tell us which vase it is for.
