The exceptional vases by ICONIC HOME are interior highlights: they can be perfectly combined with each other, but also stand alone in their uniqueness.

The ICONIC HOME vases can be used with fresh cut flowers or dried flowers and can be redecorated time and again.

The Production: Vases crafted through 3D printing.

The vases are produced using 3D printing. Using the FDM (Filament Deposit Modeling) process, the desired shapes come together layer by layer in a fascinating process. In the end, there is a finished and timeless design that makes the large and small vases so special.

ICONIC HOME vases are not mass-produced items that can be found on the shelves of furniture stores. They are produced in small quantities, making them an exclusive and extraordinary pieces of decoration.

The Material: Because sustainability matters.

The material used, Polylactic Acid (short: PLA), is colloquially referred to as polylactic acid. It is considered a bioplastic because it is composed of lactic acid molecules derived from the fermentation of corn starch or sugarcane. Although PLA is synthetically produced, it is biodegradable, making it a good alternative to non-biodegradable plastic.

In short, this means: While the vases resemble high-quality plastic in terms of texture and weight, they are an environmentally friendly alternative – all in an elegant design.

The Possibilities: High-quality aesthetics with flowers.

The high-quality aesthetics of the vases are particularly enhanced when paired with natural materials such as dried flowers, grasses, branches, and twigs – a perfect match

Of course, the 3D vases can also be used with fresh cut flowers. The vases themselves are not completely waterproof. Therefore, water for the cut flowers should not be poured directly into them. Through a specially integrated insert for the vases (included in the delivery), water can also be added, allowing cut flowers to quench their thirst.

Please note: The vases are not dishwasher-safe and should not be exposed to temperatures above 40°C. In contrast, the waterproof insert can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher up to 65°C.

The Ideas: Which dried flowers are suitable for the vases.

Stylish and low-maintenance, dried flowers are particularly well-suited for the 3D-printed vases.

Depending on the shape of the vase, dried flowers can be arranged in various ways. For our flatter vases 'Sphere' or 'Pure,' lavish arrangements are suitable, while in the taller vases, individual flowers or grasses can make a striking impact.

The selection of suitable dried flowers and grasses is diverse. Appropriate options include Eucalyptus, Phalaris, Pampas grass, Lunaria Semi, Ruscus, Cotton, Lagurus (also known as Hare's Tail grass or Bunny Tails), Strawflower, Poppy, Glixia, Lavender, Roses, Baby's Breath, Sunflowers, Statice, Yarrow, Craspedia, Flax, Thistles, Bulrushes, Palm leaves, Rose hips, Olive branches, and branches (with and without berries).

In this case, the focus can either be on a single plant species, or the desired effect can be achieved through a mixture of different flowers and grasses.

The Design: Minimalistic design for lang-lasting decoration

There are shapes that never go out of style. We have dedicated ourselves to these designs for our vases, evolving them based on the classic cylindrical shape and the harmonious spherical form. The vases by ICONIC HOME aim to move away from disposable, interchangeable designs towards durable and timeless interior design.

From the classically linear vase 'Straight' to uniquely shaped vases like the models 'Shape' and 'Twist,' the minimalist aesthetics offer modern design that transcends fleeting trends.

The special feature: Distinction from ceramic or glass vases.

In contrast to glass or ceramic vases, 3D-printed vases are lightweight and predominantly shatterproof. The production is also more energy-efficient. While the firing of ceramics or the melting of glass requires very high temperatures of over 1000°C, the temperature in 3D printing is 200°C precisely on a small spot.

Visually, the vases also differ from traditional vases made of glass or ceramic materials. The modern manufacturing process allows for the realization of shapes and structures that were not possible before.
